As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at our GSS NE Albion facility, you will provide professional nursing care for residents of all ages in a long-term care setting. Working under the supervision of a registered nurse, advanced practice provider, or physician, you will ensure the health, comfort, and safety of our residents. Your day will involve assessing resident needs, administering medications and treatments, and documenting care outcomes. You will serve as a vital member of an interdisciplinary care team, counseling residents and families on prevention and treatment plans while maintaining effective working relationships with healthcare providers and the public.
This position is part of the Nebraska Rural Health Workforce Incentive Program. Candidates must hold an unencumbered Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license with the State Nursing Board. The role requires a graduate from an accredited practical nursing program with supervised clinical experience, or a minimum of 400 hours of LPN experience at another facility. If the position involves IV therapy, specific North Dakota Board of Nursing approved training is required. Selected candidates will undergo a drug screen and pre-employment background screening as a condition of employment.
