About the Role
As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at our GSS NE Albion facility, you will provide professional nursing care for residents of all ages in a long-term care setting. Working under the supervision of a registered nurse, advanced practice provider, or physician, you will be an active participant in ensuring the health, comfort, and safety of our residents.
Your day will involve assessing residents, administering medications and treatments, and documenting care outcomes. You will utilize your nursing expertise to evaluate resident status, recognize problems, and respond effectively to emergent situations. Beyond clinical duties, you will counsel residents and their families on prevention and treatment plans, develop self-care programs, and collaborate as a key member of an interdisciplinary care team.
