As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at our GSS NE Albion facility, you will provide professional nursing care for residents of all ages in a long-term care setting. Working under the supervision of a registered nurse, advanced practice provider, or physician, you will ensure the health, comfort, and safety of our residents.
Your day will involve assessing residents, administering medications and treatments, and documenting care outcomes. You will utilize your nursing expertise to evaluate resident status, recognize problems, and respond effectively to emergent situations. As a key member of an interdisciplinary care team, you will establish effective working relationships with residents, families, and healthcare providers while maintaining strict confidentiality.
This full-time position is based at 1222 S 7th St, Albion, NE 68620. You will work 40 hours per week on 12-hour day shifts.
We are an active participant in the Nebraska Rural Health Workforce Incentive Program, offering monetary incentives to nursing professionals who commit to working in a rural county for a five-year period. Additionally, a $5,000 sign-on bonus is available for this role.
