As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at our GSS NE Albion facility, you will provide professional nursing care for residents of all ages in a long-term care setting. Working under the supervision of a registered nurse, advanced practice provider, or physician, you will ensure the health, comfort, and safety of our residents.
Your day will involve assessing residents, administering medications and treatments, and documenting care outcomes. You will utilize your nursing expertise to evaluate resident status, recognize problems, and respond effectively to emergent situations. A key part of your role is counseling residents, family members, and advocates on prevention and treatment plans while maintaining confidentiality and fostering effective working relationships within an interdisciplinary care team.
