Join a not-for-profit organization with over 100 years of history providing housing and services to seniors. We are committed to delivering quality care and service within a Christian environment, ensuring the well-being of our residents across all ages.
As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at our GSS NE Albion facility, you will provide professional nursing care to residents in a long-term care setting. Working under the supervision of a registered nurse, advanced practice provider, or physician, you will be an active participant in the Nebraska Rural Health Workforce Incentive Program, supporting the community by serving in a rural county for a 5-year period.
Your day-to-day responsibilities include ensuring the health, comfort, and safety of residents while administering medications and treatments as ordered. You will contribute to resident assessments, document care outcomes, and counsel residents and their families on prevention and treatment plans. As a key member of an interdisciplinary care team, you will utilize your nursing expertise to evaluate resident status, recognize problems, and respond effectively to emergent situations.
