About the Role
As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at our GSS NE Albion facility, you will provide professional nursing care to residents in a long-term care setting. Working under the supervision of a registered nurse, advanced practice provider, or physician, you will be an active participant in an interdisciplinary care team dedicated to the health, comfort, and safety of our community.
Your day will involve assessing residents, administering medications and treatments, and documenting care outcomes. You will utilize your nursing expertise to evaluate resident status, recognize problems, and respond effectively to emergent situations. Beyond clinical duties, you will counsel residents and their families on prevention and treatment plans, fostering effective working relationships with healthcare providers and the public while maintaining strict confidentiality.

This position is part of the Nebraska Rural Health Workforce Incentive Program. As an active participant, you will receive monetary incentives in exchange for a service commitment to work in a rural county for a 5-year period. A $5,000 sign-on bonus is available for eligible candidates.
