LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) PRN

About the Role

This position provides essential care under the supervision of physicians or registered nurses for clinic patients, adhering to established standards and practices. The role serves as a vital support system within the clinical team, ensuring smooth patient flow and efficient clinic operations.

Day in the Life

You will perform various lab procedures and basic patient care duties, including obtaining vital signs, weighing patients, and collecting specimens. A key part of your day involves assisting providers during patient examinations and treatments, as well as managing medication refills and administering immunizations according to provider orders.

Beyond direct patient care, you will handle essential administrative tasks such as answering phones, recording messages, scheduling test appointments, and managing results and pre-certifications. You will also maintain the clinic environment by cleaning and restocking exam rooms, sanitizing equipment, and ordering necessary supplies while strictly maintaining sterile techniques and universal protocols.
