Key Responsibilities
- check_circleProvide compassionate bedside nursing care to senior residents following individualized care plans
- check_circleAdminister oral, topical, and injectable medications safely while monitoring for therapeutic responses
- check_circlePerform routine nursing procedures including vital sign monitoring, wound care, and catheter care
- check_circleSupport rehabilitation goals by assisting residents with mobility and activities of daily living
- check_circleDocument all care, observations, and resident responses accurately in the Electronic Health Record
- check_circleCommunicate effectively with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate comprehensive patient care
- check_circleObserve and promptly report changes in resident condition to implement appropriate interventions
- check_circleEducate residents and families about medications, treatments, and self-care strategies
- check_circleMaintain a safe environment by adhering to infection control and safety standards
- check_circleParticipate in shift handoffs, care conferences, and ongoing professional development activities
Requirements
- verifiedActive LPN license in state of practice
- verifiedCurrent Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- verifiedIV certification (where state scope of practice allows)
- verifiedGeriatric or long-term care experience preferred
- verifiedMedication administration competency
- verifiedElectronic Health Record (EHR) proficiency
