About the Role

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) serves as a vital member of the Medical-Surgical (Med-Surg / MST) unit at Central Maine Medical Center. In this dynamic environment, you will provide direct and indirect patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN). Your work is essential to supporting patient safety, care coordination, and quality outcomes while enhancing the overall patient experience.

As a full-time team member working the night shift (7p-7a, 12-hour shifts), you will collaborate closely with RNs, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care delivery. You will be the eyes and ears on the floor, monitoring vital signs and clinical changes, assisting with medication administration and IV therapy, and documenting care in EMR/EHR systems. Your ability to communicate changes in patient condition promptly and ensure strict adherence to infection control and compliance protocols will be key to the unit's success.

Hiring Process
