Are you seeking a flexible, incentivized Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) position? The GIG Nursing Program allows you to work where and when you want, picking up day or night shifts based on your availability. There are no mandatory weekend, holiday, or shift requirements.
As a Licensed Practical Nurse - GIG, you will float between designated Mercy Hospital facilities of your choice. You will utilize the nursing process to provide patient care under the supervision of licensed prescribers or the direction of a Registered Professional Nurse (RN). Your role involves maintaining professional accountability for patient care, coordinating with other departments, and upholding patient rights and confidentiality.
This program is designed for flexibility. Participation requires being responsible for scheduling a minimum number of hours, being available on short notice, and remaining flexible to last-minute shift cancellations. Please note that the Gig Nursing Program does not offer guaranteed shift hours and will be the first to be cancelled if shifts are reduced.
