The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - GIG position offers a flexible, incentivized opportunity to utilize the nursing process to provide patient care under the supervision of licensed prescribers or Registered Professional Nurses. You will maintain professional accountability for your assigned patients, coordinate care with other departments, and uphold patient rights and confidentiality.
This role is designed for nurses seeking flexibility. As part of the Gig Nursing Program, you can pick up day or night shifts that work best for your schedule, with no mandatory weekend, holiday, or shift requirements. You will float between designated Mercy Hospital facilities of your choice, gaining exposure to diverse environments including Behavioral Health, Emergency Department, Intensive Care Unit, and Medical-Surgical units.
Please note that participation in the Gig Nursing Program requires you to be responsible for scheduling a minimum number of hours, being available on short notice, and remaining flexible to last-minute shift cancellations. The program does not offer guaranteed shift hours and shifts may be the first to be cancelled.
