Are you seeking a flexible, incentivized Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) position? The GIG Nursing Program offers the freedom to pick up day or night shifts, whatever works best for your schedule. There are no weekend, holiday, or shift requirements, allowing you to work where and when you want.
As a GIG LPN, you will float between designated Mercy Hospital facilities, providing patient care under the supervision of licensed prescribers or Registered Professional Nurses. You will utilize the nursing process to maintain professional accountability for your assigned patients, coordinate care with other departments, and uphold patient rights and confidentiality.
This role is designed for flexibility. Participation requires being responsible for scheduling a minimum number of hours, being available on short notice, and remaining flexible enough to accommodate last-minute shift cancellations. Please note that the Gig Nursing Program does not offer guaranteed shift hours and shifts may be the first to be cancelled.
