The Crisis LPN serves as a vital clinical anchor within our crisis residential settings, providing direct nursing care to support the health, safety, and well-being of individuals in crisis. This role is designed to bridge the gap between acute medical needs and supportive living environments, ensuring that every resident receives skilled, compassionate, and compliant care.
In this position, you will function as the clinical lead for your assigned shift, overseeing nursing-related matters and guiding direct care staff in meeting the unique health needs of individuals with developmental disabilities and autism spectrum disorders. Working under the clinical supervision of a Registered Nurse and in collaboration with the Crisis Program Manager, you will implement care plans, manage medication administration, and respond to medical emergencies with precision and empathy.
Your day-to-day impact involves monitoring physical and behavioral conditions, maintaining rigorous documentation standards, and fostering a safe environment where residents can thrive. You will play a key supervisory role in interviewing, hiring, and training Direct Support Professionals and Registered Behavioral Technicians, ensuring the entire team operates in alignment with our mission to promote independence and quality of life.
