This position serves as a vital link in our nursing team, providing direct nursing care while supervising the day-to-day activities of nursing assistants. You will ensure that all care aligns with current federal, state, and local standards, maintaining a safe and supportive environment for every resident.
In this role, you will act as a resident advocate, ensuring rights are maintained and serving as a liaison between residents, families, and the medical team. Your day involves fostering a positive, friendly work environment, promoting teamwork, and ensuring accurate documentation and communication across all departments. You will be responsible for planning unit services, managing equipment and supplies, and leading staff development initiatives to enhance the overall resident and staff experience.
