This role serves as a vital link in our logistics operations, supervising processes and procedures across receiving, shipping, and warehouse departments. You will maintain a continuous focus on safe operating procedures within the facility and dock area, overseeing all material handling activities including loading, unloading, staging, and documentation.
In this position, you will foster positive working relationships and manage inventory control through cycle counts to ensure accurate and timely management. You will arbitrate disputes, respond to inquiries, and maintain accurate business system reporting. A key part of your day involves assisting with communication to trucking companies to meet shipment goals and managing the plant's waste storage to ensure safe, organized removal.
You will also support forklift safety training and operator compliance, conduct routine warehouse inspections, and report on structural damage or unsafe conditions. The role requires coordinating workflow from an offsite warehouse facility to the plant, navigating two separate inventory systems, and prioritizing workload while collaborating with cross-functional teams in planning, operations, and maintenance.
We expect our people to be guided by The Amcor Way and demonstrate our values every day. We are winning when our people are engaged and developing as part of a high-performing team, our customers grow from our quality and innovation, our investors benefit from consistent growth, and the environment is better off because of our leadership.
