As a Logistics Specialist II, you will play a vital role in supporting the ISR, Aviation, and Security business area by preparing logistics documentation for spares, tools, test equipment, materials, and related manuals. Your mission is to ensure these critical assets are deployed and stocked efficiently. You will be responsible for routing, documenting, and coordinating shipping logistics while maintaining accurate records of equipment, components, repair parts, and manuals. A key part of your day involves tracking logistics materials to ensure the proper allocation of storage facilities and coordinating shipping activities that strictly adhere to state, federal, and global regulations, including import/export requirements.
In this position, you will also provide mentorship and guidance to Logistics Specialists I, fostering a collaborative environment where excellence in supply chain management thrives. This position requires a current/active Secret U.S. Security Clearance, and U.S. Citizenship is mandatory as non-citizens may not be eligible. The Department of Defense Consolidated Adjudications Facility (DoD CAF) handles the adjudicative aspects of the security clearance process. Please note that this posting will be open for a minimum of 5 days and may be extended based on business needs.
Candidates must be willing and able to deploy for an extended amount of time to various OCONUS operating locations for periods up to 90 days, depending on mission needs. Deployment is determined at the discretion of management. Successful candidates must meet current DoD and Combatant Command requirements for deployed locations, pass a pre-deployment medical assessment, and possess a current valid passport with the ability to obtain necessary visas. The role may also require working extended hours, holidays, and shift schedules as required.
