About the Role
We are seeking a Logistics Driver - Flatbed Tow Operator to join our team in Miami. In this role, you will be the frontline for vehicle recovery, ensuring our assets are safely retrieved from public roads whenever the need arises. You will thrive in a customer service atmosphere, acting as a key representative of our brand during critical moments.
This position is instrumental in our transition toward becoming a more production-ready company. You will operate a flatbed single car Dodge Ram 3500, utilizing specialized skills in winching, skating, snatch blocking, and complex towing procedures to handle vehicles with a gross weight ranging from 10,001 to 26,000 pounds.
Day in the Life
Your shift runs Monday through Friday from 3:30 PM to 11:30 PM, based out of our homebase at 101 NE 23rd St. Your day involves conducting safe recovery tasks on public roads, ensuring all goods are transported and secured efficiently. You will perform pre- and post-trip inspections on company materials and vehicles, maintaining detailed logs of driving hours and deliveries.
Effective communication with dispatch and ground support is essential throughout your shift. You will also collaborate with Logistics and cross-functional teams to provide a great customer experience, handling vehicle maintenance tasks such as refueling, oil changes, and tire pressure checks as needed. Flexibility and a hands-on approach are required to navigate ambiguity and adjust to the dynamic needs of the job.
Application Instructions
Candidates must possess a valid basic Class C driver's license and a clean driving record with no moving violations. A background check and drug testing are required prior to employment. Please note that while a high school diploma or GED is preferred, the primary focus is on your ability to operate large, heavy vehicles with a high degree of skill and dexterity.
