As a Full-time Local Class A CDL Truck Driver, you will join a team of professionals committed to delivering products safely and on time. In this role, you will drive late-model Penske Truck Leasing trucks equipped with best-in-class specs designed for comfort and safety features like inward and outward-facing in-cab cameras. Your primary mission is to deliver steel to customer locations on a flatbed trailer, handling tarping, strapping, and load securing with precision.
This position is designed for those seeking stability and work-life balance. You will operate on a Monday through Friday schedule with a 5:00 AM start time, ensuring you are home daily. You can expect an average of 30 to 40 stops per week, requiring you to maintain a professional and courteous demeanor while interacting with clients. When you drive for Penske, you are representing both the company and your clients, often driving branded trucks and wearing their uniforms.
