As BMW Manufacturing's only plant in the U.S., this facility is the worldwide producer of the BMW X3, X4, X5, X6, and X7 Sports Activity Vehicles and Coupes for distribution to over 140 markets globally.
About the Role
We are seeking Logistics Associates to join the Logistics Department at the BMW plant. This is a Temp-to-Full-Time opportunity designed to help you release your potential and contribute to building the ultimate driving machine. You will operate within a fast-paced environment, managing the distribution of goods and ensuring the production line receives the correct parts in a timely manner.
Your day will involve moving and transporting parts and pallets from incoming trucks to assigned locations, including stacking items on racks up to 30 feet high. You will utilize various industrial vehicles, such as forklifts, cherry pickers, and reach trucks, to handle large items on warehouse shelves. The role requires scanning, picking, sequencing, and inspecting parts to maintain efficient logistics operations.
Hiring Process
Candidates selected for this role will undergo a training period consisting of 5 shifts of 8 hours a day for 1-2 weeks. Upon completion of training, the schedule transitions to 4 shifts of 10 hours a day. Shift times vary by location, with day shifts running approximately 6:45 AM to 5:40 PM and night shifts running approximately 7:15 PM to 6:10 AM.
