About the Role
The Cross Dock Forklift Operator is the backbone of our efficient freight movement. You will be responsible for safely loading, unloading, and moving palletized goods within a fast-paced cross-dock environment. Your role ensures the accurate placement of items and facilitates the smooth transfer of freight between transportation vehicles and storage areas. This position is critical for maintaining a secure, organized workspace while meeting daily operational targets and exceeding customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities
- check_circleSafely operate forklifts to load and unload products from trucks, containers, and pallets
- check_circleTransfer goods to and from designated cross-dock areas, storage zones, and transportation vehicles
- check_circleConduct routine inspections of forklifts and report any maintenance or safety issues
- check_circleVerify shipments against delivery documents to ensure accuracy of quantities and product descriptions
- check_circleSecure and stabilize loads to prevent damage during transfer operations
- check_circlePerform daily safety checklists and standard battery charging procedures
- check_circleUpdate the Warehouse Management system with transaction records
- check_circleMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work area at all times
