SSI is seeking a Senior Logistician to work onsite at a Navy program in Norfolk, VA. In this capacity, you will serve as a key partner to the Carrier Availability Logistics Integration Coordinator (CALICo), providing critical oversight of life cycle Integrated Logistics Support (ILS). Your work will ensure that logistics elements are available and provided to meet required milestones, while validating configuration and logistics changes throughout the ship's lifecycle.
You will play a vital role in the ILS Certification process, assisting with risk assessments and ensuring the Logistics Product Delivery System (LPDS) performs effectively. The role involves drafting and reviewing complex logistics documents, performing supply chain and administrative analysis, and coordinating inventory for Operating Space Items within the SCOOP warehouse. Additionally, you will manage the input of inventory results into the Real-time Outfitting Management Information System (ROMIS), bridging the gap between physical logistics and digital management systems.
Qualified candidates with a Secret clearance and the requisite background in Naval Logistics Systems will be considered for this position. The application process evaluates experience with Navy Planned Maintenance System (PMS), Shipboard Instrumentation and Systems Calibration (SISCAL) policies, and Navy supply and procurement procedures.
