We are seeking Locum Anesthesiologists to join our team near the Mission District, CA, with an immediate start date and ongoing work opportunities. This role is designed for providers who thrive in a dynamic environment, balancing high-acuity surgical cases with outpatient procedures across a network of six sister facilities.
The position offers significant flexibility, allowing providers to choose between 4 or 5 days per week. While shifts are generally 8 hours, they can extend up to 10 hours depending on case complexity. The facility is confident in providing a minimum of 40 hours per week, with the potential for additional coverage. Providers will predominantly work solo in the operating room, occasionally overseeing CRNAs, and will float between various sites to meet patient needs.
You will be managing a diverse patient population of adults and adolescents (13 years and older). The department primarily handles general cases in the hospital OR, with occasional regional cases. While the facility is confident in the volume of work, the mix includes high-acuity patients (ASA 3+), and a background in trauma is strongly preferred. Experience with chronic pain clinics is not relevant to this specific position.
The credentialing process typically takes 60 to 90 days. We offer a competitive all-inclusive hourly rate, A-rated malpractice insurance with tail coverage included, and a $2,000 referral bonus for any referral who works 160 hours. If you are interested in this opportunity, please send your resume to jward@odysseystaffing.com or contact Jaclyn at 972-906-5709 via call or text.
