About the Role
We are seeking two OBGYN providers to join a practice in Hood River, OR, starting September 1st. This position offers a supplemental coverage model designed to support a busy clinic environment with a patient load of approximately 15 per shift.
The role involves a hybrid schedule of clinic duties and call responsibilities. Clinic hours run from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays. Providers will also be assigned eight call shifts per month, which include weeknight beeper coverage and 24-hour weekend beeper call (7:00 AM to 7:00 AM). Night call shifts run from 5:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
While a full-time commitment is preferred, the practice is open to arrangements involving two providers covering alternating weeks (1 week on/1 week off) or two-week blocks (2 weeks on/2 weeks off). The ideal candidate will manage low-risk pregnancies, interpret fetal heart rates (NST/CST/FSE), perform OB ultrasounds, handle routine and complicated deliveries, and repair 3rd and 4th-degree lacerations using the Epic EMR system.
