The Role
This is a call-only coverage position focused on general and interventional cardiology. You will be responsible for rounding on assigned patients and managing a call schedule that requires a 30-minute response time. The role involves performing 10-15 procedures per shift, including STEMI interventions, cardiac catheterization, angioplasty, pericardiocentesis, and temporary pacemaker insertion. Additionally, reading echocardiograms and TEEs is a required component of the daily workflow.
