About the Role
We are seeking a Locum Diagnostic Radiologist to provide immediate and ongoing coverage near Corktown, MI. This position is designed to support inpatient services with a focus on pediatric imaging. The ideal candidate will bring specialized expertise to ensure high-quality diagnostic imaging for our patient population.
Shift Expectations
The role requires onsite coverage from Monday through Friday, 4:00 PM to 12:00 AM. Weekend responsibilities include call coverage from 12:00 AM to 8:00 AM on Saturdays and Sundays, as well as 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Additionally, there is a call window from 8:00 PM to 8:00 AM. Candidates will be responsible for reading all X-Ray, Ultrasound, Stat CT, and MRI cases on the list and will be called in for FL (First Line) coverage as needed. Communication for call duties is managed via beeper.
Qualifications & Certification
To succeed in this role, candidates must hold a Pediatric Radiology Fellowship training and be CAQ certified or eligible in Pediatric Radiology. A valid license in Michigan or through the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC) is required, along with current BLS certification. The Electronic Medical Record system used is Sectra. Credentialing for this position typically takes approximately 90 days.
Compensation & Benefits
This position offers a competitive hourly pay rate. The compensation package includes housing, car rental, gas, and mileage reimbursement for those driving their own vehicle. Malpractice insurance is provided at an A++ rating, with tail coverage included.
