About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Electrician and Certified Professional Locksmith to provide full-time support at a government agency site in Germany. This role is critical for maintaining the security and operational integrity of the facility.

In this position, you will specialize in the installation, termination, and testing of electrical cables and UPS systems, with a specific focus on LKM10KHX10, LKM-7003, LKM 7000 Series, Sargent & Greenleaf, and X09/X10 equipment. Your day-to-day responsibilities include installing, repairing, and maintaining door locks, cipher locks, and electromechanical locks. You will also drill and repair government safes and security containers, perform combination changes, and manage key cutting and maintenance.

A key aspect of this role is establishing and implementing a robust key control method to ensure all keys and key cards issued by the government are not lost, misplaced, or used by unauthorized persons. You will maintain accountability for all security containers, manage the agency's work order database, and coordinate all locksmith-related work orders with affected customers.

Location and Compensation

This is a full-time position based in Germany, requiring 40+ hours per week, with hours varying by job site. The client covers all travel costs, including flights to and from Germany, and provides housing. A per diem is reimbursed based on the GSA site rate. You must be able to rent a car in Germany, which will be reimbursed. While the company does not pay for phone service, they will assist with setup if needed.
