CS Healthcare is seeking an experienced Medical/Surgical Registered Nurse for a local contract assignment at a highly respected hospital in Hartford, CT. This is an excellent opportunity to join a top-tier clinical team while advancing your career in a fast-paced acute care environment.
In this role, you will serve as a vital member of an interdisciplinary team, ensuring safe and high-quality patient care. Your day-to-day responsibilities include administering prescribed medications (oral, subcutaneous, and IV), monitoring patients for adverse reactions, and accurately documenting all treatments. You will educate patients on surgical procedures and post-operative expectations while recording medical histories, vital signs, and clinical assessments. Additionally, you will operate and monitor specialized patient-care equipment, interpreting and documenting electronic data as required.
The position operates on a 3x12 Days shift schedule, totaling 36 hours per week. The role requires working every other weekend, offering a structured yet dynamic rhythm for experienced nurses looking to make an immediate impact.
