About the Role
Wooster Motor Ways is seeking a dependable, safety-first Company Driver to haul freight across our regional lanes. Based in Argos, Indiana, this role focuses on efficient drop-hook operations on the front end and live unloads on the back, ensuring steady miles and a supportive team environment.
Drivers will primarily operate on two key regional routes: Argos to Bolingbrook (up to 2 loads per day) and Argos to Fort Wayne (3 loads per day). The position offers a clear pay structure that rewards safe, experienced driving, with opportunities for daily or weekend home time depending on the assigned route.
The Experience
You will drive fully equipped International LT trucks designed for comfort and efficiency. Each vehicle comes standard with a microwave, refrigerator, TV, a premium driver's seat, and an auxiliary power unit (APU). The role involves transporting freight, general commodities, and specialized cargo while maintaining accurate HOS logs and ensuring all paperwork is complete and correct.
Hiring Process
Applicants must possess a valid Class A CDL with at least one year of experience. Candidates are expected to pass and maintain all DOT/FMCSA physical requirements. While a HazMat endorsement and TWIC card are preferred, they are not strictly required. The company covers the full cost of your initial HazMat certification upon hiring.
