About the Role
C.R. England is seeking experienced CDL-A drivers to join our dedicated team servicing the Harbor Freight Tools account in Haslet, TX. This role focuses on delivering no-touch freight with a commitment to excellence, integrity, and high-quality customer service. Drivers will operate a fleet of company-provided tandem-axle sleeper trucks pulling 53' trailers, ensuring timely deliveries across a mix of local and overnight routes.
Day in the Life
Your primary lane involves approximately 2-4 stops per load, with all freight preloaded by the customer. A key feature of this route is the driver-unload assist program, where you will use a hand pallet jack to move pallets from the back of the trailer to the tail for the store. Store personnel will then handle the final offloading with forklifts, and your responsibility is to ensure the correct pallets are delivered to the correct locations.
Deliveries operate within a 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM window, Monday through Sunday, with Saturday schedules based on customer demand. Pickup times can occur anytime between 12:01 AM and 11:59 PM. Drivers typically run an 11-hour shift or a 70-hour clock as needed. Home time varies from daily to every other day depending on the specific scheduled route. All operations start and end at the Distribution Center located at 1257 Bold Ruler RD, Haslet, TX 76052, covering areas including TX, OK, NM, KS, MO, LA, AR, TN, and MS.
