The Loan Assistant II serves as a vital support partner to commercial lenders, ensuring the integrity and efficiency of the loan lifecycle. This role is dedicated to verifying, compiling, and completing loan applications, preparing new loan requests for processing, and conducting thorough reviews to ensure data completeness and adherence to established standards.
In this position, you will manage the end-to-end documentation process, from processing loan extensions and preparing files for booking to computing payments and interest. The role requires a high degree of accuracy in reviewing Loan Offering Memorandums (LOM), ordering supporting documentation, and performing pre-funding reviews. You will also handle the closing and funding of loans, prepare loan packages for shipping, and manage routine tasks such as pulling maturity reports, assisting with collateral exceptions, and processing draw requests.
This position operates in a moderately noisy environment with a mix of sitting and standing. The work involves semi-repetitive tasks that require periods of sustained concentration. While the physical demands are generally low, the role requires the ability to lift and move items up to 25 pounds occasionally and 10 pounds frequently. Candidates should possess a high school diploma or GED, along with specialized schooling or on-the-job training in areas such as data processing or clerical administration.
