The Loader Operator is responsible for moving, loading, and handling materials within the asphalt plant area using heavy equipment. This role involves lifting, hauling, pushing, rolling, and moving aggregate and aggregate-related materials. The position requires operating equipment safely and efficiently to excavate, move, load, and grade earth, rock, gravel, or other materials.
This role includes travel, specifically an upcoming three-month extended assignment at the Border Pit, located approximately 30 minutes southwest of Montpelier along the Wyoming–Idaho state line. You will assist the Plant Manager in coordinating materials handling and equipment usage while maintaining effective working relationships with employees and the public.
