About the Team
Our client is a premier law firm seeking a bi-lingual (Spanish) Litigation Paralegal to support its Labor and Employment Group. This group serves as lead negotiator and labor counsel for employers involved with labor organizations. The team is actively engaged in all phases of labor and employment, handling litigation in both federal and state courts from initial pleadings through discovery, dispositive motion practice, trial, and appeal.

Key Responsibilities
- check_circleOversee case management from inception through trial or settlement
- check_circleDraft, review, and revise legal documents including complaints and motions
- check_circleMaintain case files and update discovery logs and indices
- check_circleSupport and manage document productions and coordinate with Litigation Support
- check_circleAssist with deposition and hearing preparation including exhibit gathering
- check_circleCite-check briefs for legal and factual citations
- check_circleIndependently draft routine civil litigation discovery and motions
Requirements
- verifiedBachelor's degree
- verifiedParalegal Certificate from ABA approved institution or attestation
- verifiedBi-lingual (English and Spanish)
- verifiedProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Office 365
- verifiedExperience with iPro or other eDiscovery software
- verifiedProficiency with Adobe Acrobat Pro XI
- verifiedExperience with Westlaw and/or Lexis
- verifiedKnowledge of Proof of Service and Law and Motion
- verifiedIn-depth knowledge of California Superior courts civil litigation rules
- verifiedAbility to independently draft civil litigation complaints, discovery, motions, and briefs

Bachelor's degree. Paralegal Certificate from an ABA approved institution, Continuing Legal Education, B&P code. Experience with Westlaw.
