This position serves as a vital legal resource for the Firm, focusing on contested and litigated matters with a specific emphasis on New York Commercial Foreclosure litigation. The Associate will leverage legal expertise to facilitate the litigation process on behalf of our clients throughout New York.
The role is dynamic and courtroom-centric, requiring the Associate to actively attend trials, hearings, mediations, and depositions. Success in this position demands a high degree of adaptability, as the individual must be willing to travel throughout the entire state of New York as needed to support client matters and firm obligations.
Beyond courtroom duties, the Associate will engage in complex drafting tasks, including pleadings, briefs, affidavits, discovery documents, proposed orders, and legal memoranda. The position also involves providing exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders, resolving problems efficiently, and managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
