About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated Light Equipment Operator to join our team in maintaining the City's streets, sidewalks, facilities, and infrastructure. In this vital role, you will operate specialized light equipment and perform manual labor tasks to ensure our community's safety and functionality. Your work will directly impact the daily experience of residents by keeping our roads clear, our facilities in good repair, and our environment safe.
This is an on-call position with core hours from Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, though overtime may be required. You will be expected to work outdoors in various weather conditions, performing physically demanding tasks such as lifting up to 113 pounds, clearing debris, and operating heavy machinery. Success in this role requires a commitment to safety, the ability to follow instructions precisely, and a cooperative spirit when working with colleagues and the public.
