At StoryPoint Farmington Hills, the Life Enrichment Director serves as the heart of our community's social and cultural life. This role is dedicated to planning, organizing, and facilitating activities that significantly enhance the social welfare and interests of our senior residents. Beyond event coordination, the Director leads, trains, and holds accountability for the entire Life Enrichment support team, ensuring a cohesive and vibrant community experience.
The position is deeply rooted in supporting our "1440 culture" and pillars, requiring a leader who can balance administrative duties like budget management with the compassionate, day-to-day engagement of residents. The Director acts as a bridge between departments to create the best possible experience, stepping in to support functional responsibilities in the absence of the Executive Director when needed.
This role is active and dynamic, requiring the ability to stand for long periods, move around the community, and interact effectively with residents, staff, and families. The work environment is moderate in noise level and involves occasional travel to different locations. A flexible schedule is essential, as the role often includes evenings, weekends, and holiday hours to accommodate resident needs and community events.
We are committed to providing comprehensive benefit packages that include health, dental, vision, 401(k), income protection, and extraordinary work-life benefits. We foster a culture of compassion and excellence, where every team member is valued.
StoryPoint Farmington Hills is an Equal Opportunity Employer. We celebrate diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees and residents.
