As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) within our Community Health Division's Comprehensive Treatment Center (CTC), you will play a vital role in delivering care to patients in a methadone treatment setting. Under the supervision of the RN Supervisor and Medical Director, your primary function involves patient dosing, administering methadone medications, and educating patients on their treatment plans and potential side effects.
You will be an integral member of a multi-disciplinary team, responsible for triaging patients, assisting physicians with examinations, and conducting specimen collections such as breathalyzers and urine tests. This role requires maintaining open communication with nursing staff, physicians, and patients while ensuring patient rights are protected and safety protocols are strictly followed. You will also manage critical documentation for care observation, planning, and evaluation, and act as a first responder in emergency situations.
