About the Role

As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you will provide nursing care to assigned patients under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or other assigned supervisor. You will accept delegation from the RN to meet the needs of the patient and family, collecting data through observation and communicating information to assist in patient assessment and care planning.

You will deliver care in accordance with the patient care plan, organizational policies, and principles of relationship-based care. This role involves participating as a member of the healthcare team, mentoring and instructing others, and potentially contributing to committees or quality improvement projects. The position includes cross-training in Clinical Dermatology and requires frequent and prolonged standing during surgical procedures.

Hiring Process

Internal applicants should submit their three most recent performance appraisals. Prior to your start date, you must obtain a current LPN license by applicable state requirements and maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Health Care Providers certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross, unless the specific work area determines otherwise.
