About the Role
We are seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a full-time direct hire position in Penn Yan, NY. This role is designed to provide essential direct and indirect resident care within a long-term care setting. Working under the direction of licensed nursing personnel, you will be responsible for delivering age-appropriate care that addresses the unique physical, emotional, and psychosocial needs of adult and geriatric patients.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve executing a comprehensive plan of care that ensures resident safety, hygiene, nutrition, and rehabilitation. You will act as a vital link in the care team, monitoring resident status, responding promptly to call lights and alarms, and reporting any changes in condition to the Charge or Supervising Nurse. The position requires a compassionate professional who can maintain a safe, comfortable environment while honoring resident rights and preferences.
