We are seeking Licensed Practical Nurses to join our team at the Charles B. Webster Detention Center in Augusta, Georgia. This role offers a rewarding career where you will deliver quality care consistent with the scope of practice outlined by the Georgia state nurse practice act. You will work collaboratively with the Health Services Administrator, Director of Nursing, Registered Nurses, and Medical Directors to monitor patients and implement nursing care plans.
The position involves utilizing a systematic approach to meet the health needs of each individual patient, including wound care, medication administration, and vital sign monitoring. You will also assist in developing teaching plans focused on health promotion, maintenance, and restoration of health. This is a full-time opportunity available across multiple shifts, including day (7AM - 7PM) and night (7PM - 7AM) rotations, with 3x12-hour shift options and PRN availability.
