This position is for a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) within our home care network. In this role, you will perform treatments and provide exercise instruction and patient education aimed at improving and enhancing the patient's well-being. You will work closely with the supervising Physical Therapist to follow the established plan of care, ensuring that all procedures are within your qualifications and training. Your work involves instructing patients in active and passive exercises, muscle re-education, gait training, and functional activities, while observing and reporting patient responses to the care team. You will serve as a vital link in the healthcare team, coordinating care and educating patients, families, and caregivers on therapy within your scope.
