About the Role

Kemper Life is actively seeking licensed agents to join our field sales teams. As a Licensed Insurance Sales Agent, you will be assigned an established book of business that provides prospecting opportunities for new sales and immediate income through a collections commission for premiums collected each month.

Day in the Life

Your role involves coordinating home visits and conducting sales presentations to recommend products and close new sales. You will prospect for new opportunities while maintaining strong customer relationships by collecting premiums on a pre-arranged schedule that you determine. Additionally, you will respond promptly to service requests such as beneficiary changes, claims, and loans, while handling record keeping, accounting for money collected, and processing policy paperwork.

Hiring Process & Application

To qualify for our Licensed Agent Bonus Program, new agents must be fully licensed to sell all Kemper Life products in their resident state. Eligible agents can receive up to $4,750 in bonuses during their first year, paid upon hiring, after six production months, and after 12 production months, provided they maintain a $200 average monthly issued premium and remain an active employee in good standing.
