About the Role
This position provides direct care, including IV therapy, to assigned patients within the framework of the Licensed Practical Nurse Act under the direction of a Registered Nurse. The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) directs and assists ancillary nursing staff with assigned duties and interacts with the multidisciplinary team and other personnel.
In this role, you will demonstrate professional responsibilities, take ownership of your own practice, and assist other members of the healthcare team in providing the highest quality personalized patient care. You will effectively use the nursing process to deliver care, adapting to rapid changes in the unit or department as patient needs evolve.
