About the Mission
Sycamores is partnering with the 988 mental health crisis hotline to provide critical support to individuals experiencing a mental health crisis. While the 988 hotline offers initial phone support and triage, the Sycamores Mobile Crisis Outreach Teams (MCOT) respond in-person 24/7, 365 days a year to ensure immediate safety and stabilization.
About the Role
The Mobile Crisis Outreach License Eligible Clinician is an integral part of the MCOT, co-responding with a Peer Support Specialist to evaluate and support individuals in the field across the Antelope Valley, South Los Angeles, San Fernando Valley, and San Gabriel Valley. This role operates out of a Mobile Crisis Outreach van, responding to calls to provide timely crisis stabilization, safety planning, and assessments for danger to self or others.
In this position, you will take the lead on care coordination, working collaboratively to locate hospitals, ambulances, and housing resources. You will also write 51/50 holds as needed and provide follow-up support. The role requires close partnership with the 988 call center, law enforcement, psychiatric hospitals, and ambulance transport companies to ensure the safety of individuals requiring involuntary hospitalization.

Requirements
