The Legislative & Regulatory Policy Manager is responsible for helping manage Xcel Energy's relationship with the Legislature, the Governor's Office, and the Public Utilities Commission. This role exists to proactively identify issues of significance to Xcel Energy and the customers and communities served in the state, initiating successful efforts that benefit the Company, its customers, and communities.
In this position, you will protect the company's and customers' interests before the legislature and help manage and resolve regulatory matters before the Public Utilities/Service Commissions. Success in this role requires gaining the cooperation of a range of other employees to utilize their expertise in the completion of these tasks. You will serve as a primary advocate for the Company before legislatures, public utilities/service commissions, and other regulatory forums, representing Company positions and advancing outcomes that benefit customers, communities, and the Company.
