This position serves as a vital support pillar within the legal team in Washington, DC. The role is designed to ensure the smooth operational flow of legal services by managing critical administrative tasks, from attorney time entry and pre-bill editing to the creation and formatting of complex legal documents. The ideal candidate will act as a professional organizer and self-starter, capable of interacting seamlessly with attorneys, staff, and clients in a fast-paced environment.
Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing expense reports, check requests, and new business memos, as well as managing mailings and binder creation. The role also involves maintaining electronic files, entering contacts, and assisting with travel arrangements and meeting scheduling. As a key team member, you will provide back-up coverage for other Legal Support Specialists and take on special projects as assigned, requiring a strong work ethic and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
