The Legal Personnel Manager – U.S. serves as a strategic HR Business Partner, working closely with the Director and Assistant Director of Legal Personnel, Practice Group leadership, and Office Managing Partners. This role is designed to provide high-level, hands-on HR support and guidance for attorneys and timekeepers throughout the entire employment life cycle.
You will act as the primary liaison between department leadership, Staff Recruiting, and the US Compensation Team, ensuring seamless hiring processes and practices. The position requires a proactive, solutions-oriented approach to advise Practice Group Leaders on compliance, address performance management concerns, and implement strategies for employee engagement and retention. From managing complex leave and accommodation requests to supporting confidential investigations, you will ensure the firm adheres to best practices while reducing legal risks.
