About the Role
As a Legal Counsel, you will work hand-in-hand with line of business leaders and stakeholders to research and advise on complex legal issues. You will evaluate risks, educate clients, and help minimize exposure while reviewing, negotiating, and drafting agreements. Beyond transactional work, you will participate in projects and process improvements, prepare regular status reports, and summarize trends to guide strategic decision-making.
In this capacity, you will serve as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, ensuring that operations and strategies across different lines of business and corporate support functions are managed in compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Requirements
- verifiedJD and license to practice law
- verified4+ years of relevant experience in corporate law, securities, or company governance
- verifiedFamiliarity with SEC reporting, stock exchange listing standards and corporate governance best practices
Nice to Have
Experience within financial services or a publicly traded environment. Familiarity with Regulation O and a financial or accounting background.
