This position serves as a vital bridge between the classroom and the library, delivering high-quality public services to a diverse community of users in support of the College’s curriculum. You will be the first point of contact for the Learning Commons, helping students locate learning materials, resources, and equipment while bridging their academic needs with available support.
Your day will involve a dynamic mix of instruction, reference, and collection management. You will teach information literacy in various environments, from in-person presentations to online modules, and assist faculty in integrating research skills into their courses. Beyond the desk, you will design and maintain research guides, supervise work-study students, and participate in student and faculty orientations. Success in this role requires a strong commitment to world-class customer service and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment.
