About the Role

As the Lead Technician, Facility Services, Exterior Services, you will oversee and support a team to ensure high-quality maintenance and landscaping operations. This role is designed to coordinate work assignments, monitor performance, and ensure strict compliance with safety and company standards. You will serve as a subject matter expert in horticulture, pest management, and facility upkeep, fostering effective communication with associates and stakeholders.

Your day-to-day involves managing landscaping tasks such as planting, pruning, and pest control while utilizing technology to maintain records and support operational efficiency. You will provide expert guidance on horticulture methods and regulatory compliance, ensuring equipment and supplies are functional at the start of every shift. By promoting a customer-focused approach, you will help maintain safe, efficient, and well-maintained exterior environments aligned with Walmart’s operational goals.

Hiring Process

Candidates selected for this position will be required to successfully complete a DOT physical and medical certification within 90 days of hire. Additionally, all candidates must meet specific driving record requirements, including no convictions for DUI, DWI, OUI, or reckless driving involving alcohol or drugs within the last three years, and no preventable accidents as defined by Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations.
