About the Role

We are seeking a Lead Teacher with great enthusiasm, patience, and a caring, kind heart. In this role, you will collaborate closely with an assistant teacher to lead a class of 12 students. You will be responsible for planning and teaching daily activities and lessons that align with our curriculum, promoting multi-cultural education, and maintaining a safe and healthy environment. Your day will involve helping students learn classroom rules, procedures, and personal responsibility, while also attending to their basic needs. You will supervise class projects, field trips, and guest teacher visits, while establishing consistent communication with parents through weekly updates.

This position is ideal for someone who is dependable, adaptable, and enjoys work that may require frequent shifts in direction. It is a great fit for applicants with gaps in their resume, those returning to the workforce, or individuals just entering the field with limited experience. We are open to applicants without a college diploma, provided they can meet state and accreditation requirements.
